REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible to compete in the Miss Competition, you must:

  • Reside within the 40-mile radius of the city of McAlester

  • Age: 18-28 – must be 18 by June 1, 2025 (Miss Oklahoma state competition date), and no older than 27 at state competition

  • Be a United States citizen  

  • Be a female

  • Single

  • No legal dependents 

  • Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the Miss McAlester Organization

PHASES OF COMPETITION & SCORING
 

  • Private Interview –  30%

  • On Stage Question- 10%

  • Fitness- 20%

  • Talent– 20%

  • Evening Wear-20%

All contestants are required to have the necessary competition wardrobe, however, we encourage you to utilize what you have in your closet or borrow from a friend.

 

It is not necessary to spend a small fortune on clothing for our local preliminary.
